My Family {New Baby} | Northern Nevada Newborn Photographer

I mentioned a while ago that I was pregnant with a little boy. Little Myles Edward joined our family on April 30, 2010 weighing 7lbs 14oz. He is now three months old, and is such a sweet, happy boy. His big sister, Zoe is enamored with him and couldn’t be happier to have a little brother to call her own. And she does call him her baby, all the time. I know I should have shared these a long time ago, but better late than never, right?

So, without further ado, here is Myles. Enjoy!

I will have to share more from this session next week, as I am leaving town for a couple of days tomorrow. I just had to share a couple of shots of my new nieces. They are so adorable! They were born 5 weeks early, but are doing great. It was so much fun to see my brother as a dad, and to be able to capture some images of the twins’ first few days of life. They live in Southern California, so I was very lucky to be able to drive down and spend some time with them.

I had the pleasure of photographing little Miss H. She is the precious new arrival for my college roommate, J. J and her husband, M, are such sweet, doting parents. Miss H was only 5lbs 6oz when she was born, so she’s a tiny little peanut! So precious and sweet. She was such a little doll and was very easy to work with.

I had the pleasure of photographing some friends of ours who are due to have a new addition in just a couple of weeks. J and R are such a cute, fun couple. You can just feel how excited they are for their new little boy to arrive. It was a lot of fun to spend some time with them, and J looks amazing!

Well, it’s certainly been a busy holiday season around here, and I neglected my blog a little in the rush. No worries, I’m still here, going strong!

Not only am I starting off the new year with a new baby post, but I’m also expecting a new baby of my own! A little boy, set to arrive around May 3rd!

This shoot was a little different for me, as little Miss S was a bit older than the typical newborn that I work with, and I also had an assistant with me in the form of my brother, Brian. Brian is an awesome graphic designer and artist, and he’s moving up to the area with his wife very soon. So, if you need custom cards, a new website, logo, whatever…call Brian! Back to the point of this post, and the part you’ve all been waiting for…Little Miss S! Miss S was not going to sleep for us, so we just worked with her awake, alert, and making lots of eye contact. She did doze off for a little bit at the very end, so I snuck in a couple of sleepy baby shots, too. She was content to hang out and be moved around the house a bit while we worked with her, what a dream to work with! She’s absolutely precious, and her parents are over the moon in love with her. It’s so much fun to see the bonds in a new family like this, and I can tell that they really care for one another. Miss S is one lucky little girl!

I had the pleasure of getting together with this family over the weekend. I’ve actually photographed them before, last fall when little miss L was just a tiny baby! How fun it is to see how much both little miss L and miss P have grown!

Little miss L was not really happy about the session, but we caught a few smiles from her. I think they are just the cutest family!

Tiny and new–Miss M, 3 weeks old | Fernley, NV newborn photographer

I had the distinct pleasure of getting to photograph this petite little girl over the weekend. Little Miss M was already 3 weeks old when I got to her, having spent a couple of weeks in the NICU right after she arrived 6 weeks early. I’m happy to report that she’s doing very well, and you can tell that she is very loved! She was born at a mere 4lbs 8oz and 17 inches long. She had gained over a pound by our session, but was still such a tiny, petite little girl!

Heather and Dylan Sneak Peek | Minden, NV Engagement Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting Heather and Dylan early this week. They were in town from southern California, where they plan to get married next August. It was such a fun session, you can tell that they are true friends, and truly in love.

We started out in the evening in her parents’ yard (isn’t it pretty?), and then met up the next morning after a couple of hair cuts to get some urban shots, too.

One Gorgeous Mama-To-Be | Fernley, NV Maternity Photographer

Meet P, a gorgeous mama to be. We did her pictures at 34 weeks, and it’s a good thing we did! P’s water broke at 6am the morning after we did these photos! The good news is that mama and baby are doing great, so expect to see some gorgeous new baby soon!

Here are a couple of photos of big brother, A, with his mom having some sweet moments.
