New Year, New Baby! | Gardnerville, NV Newborn Photographer

Well, it’s certainly been a busy holiday season around here, and I neglected my blog a little in the rush.  No worries, I’m still here, going strong!

Not only am I starting off the new year with a new baby post, but I’m also expecting a new baby of my own!  A little boy, set to arrive around May 3rd!

This shoot was a little different for me, as little Miss S was a bit older than the typical newborn that I work with, and I also had an assistant with me in the form of my brother, Brian.  Brian is an awesome graphic designer and artist, and he’s moving up to the area with his wife very soon.  So, if you need custom cards, a new website, logo, whatever…call Brian!  His site:  www.brianlucasart.com

Back to the point of this post, and the part you’ve all been waiting for…Little Miss S!  Miss S was not going to sleep for us, so we just worked with her awake, alert, and making lots of eye contact.  She did doze off for a little bit at the very end, so I snuck in a couple of sleepy baby shots, too.  She was content to hang out and be moved around the house a bit while we worked with her, what a dream to work with!  She’s absolutely precious, and her parents are over the moon in love with her.  It’s so much fun to see the bonds in a new family like this, and I can tell that they really care for one another.  Miss S is one lucky little girl!
