I mentioned a while ago that I was pregnant with a little boy. Little Myles Edward joined our family on April 30, 2010 weighing 7lbs 14oz. He is now three months old, and is such a sweet, happy boy. His big sister, Zoe is enamored with him and couldn’t be happier to have a little brother to call her own. And she does call him her baby, all the time. I know I should have shared these a long time ago, but better late than never, right? 
So, without further ado, here is Myles. Enjoy!

I will have to share more from this session next week, as I am leaving town for a couple of days tomorrow. I just had to share a couple of shots of my new nieces. They are so adorable! They were born 5 weeks early, but are doing great. It was so much fun to see my brother as a dad, and to be able to capture some images of the twins’ first few days of life. They live in Southern California, so I was very lucky to be able to drive down and spend some time with them.

I had the pleasure of getting together with this family over the weekend. I’ve actually photographed them before, last fall when little miss L was just a tiny baby! How fun it is to see how much both little miss L and miss P have grown!
Little miss L was not really happy about the session, but we caught a few smiles from her. I think they are just the cutest family!

Tiny and new–Miss M, 3 weeks old | Fernley, NV newborn photographer
I had the distinct pleasure of getting to photograph this petite little girl over the weekend. Little Miss M was already 3 weeks old when I got to her, having spent a couple of weeks in the NICU right after she arrived 6 weeks early. I’m happy to report that she’s doing very well, and you can tell that she is very loved! She was born at a mere 4lbs 8oz and 17 inches long. She had gained over a pound by our session, but was still such a tiny, petite little girl!

Sneak Peek–Baby H | Fernley, NV Newborn Photographer
I had the pleasure of meeting little H’s mom, M, at her baby shower. I was so excited to be able to go back and meet little Mr. H! I just love his sweet little face! We actually did this on two different days. The first day, we got the family shots while I waited for H to fall asleep. As soon as he fell asleep, I had some technical difficulty and couldn’t get the shots we wanted! So, I went back on Tuesday and he was just perfect for me.

Sneak Peek–Miss K | Lake Tahoe Children’s Photographer
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting up with little Miss K and her mom up at Lake Tahoe. Miss K’s mom and I have been friends a long time–since elementary school! It was a gorgeous day for a photo shoot, and a gorgeous location, too! Little Miss K is just over a year old and was smiling and happy for our short time together. She liked exploring the dirt (so much for keeping those adorable outfits clean!), and wanted to chew on her hands the whole time.
We had a lot of fun, I hope to take more photos of Miss K and her mom soon!!

Saturday was a fun day in the sun out at the Fernley Farmer’s Market. Though small, we still had a steady stream of people stopping by to check out our booth and it was a pleasure meeting so many new people. If you stopped by, I want to say, thank you!
I also would like to congratulate my drawing winner, Melanie Wedan. She won a free session, two 8x10s, and a 5×7, just for stopping by. Congrats, Melanie! I can’t wait to get together with your family for pictures.

Sneak Peak–Miss E, 5 Days Old | Reno, NV Newborn Photographer
I had so much fun getting to meet little Miss E at just 5 days old! Her mom, Amy, and I have been friends since we were both pregnant with our first kids 2 years ago. It was my pleasure to be able to work with Miss E, she was such a doll. She slept like a rock for me for a while, so we got to try out lots of fun things.

Oh what fun it is to be a toddler! Little Miss E had a blast exploring and finding lots of treasures. I was amazed at just how much she could hold in those little hands! We had a lot of fun, moving at a slower pace, letting Miss E stop to smell all of the flowers.
Mom and Dad wanted to get some family pictures before their family of 3 becomes 4 this fall. They are a lot of fun to be around.
