My Family {New Baby} | Northern Nevada Newborn Photographer

I mentioned a while ago that I was pregnant with a little boy.  Little Myles Edward joined our family on April 30, 2010 weighing 7lbs 14oz.  He is now three months old, and is such a sweet, happy boy.  His big sister, Zoe is enamored with him and couldn’t be happier to have a little brother to call her own.  And she does call him her baby, all the time.  I know I should have shared these a long time ago, but better late than never, right?  :)

So, without further ado, here is Myles.  Enjoy!

Double the fun! {TWINS} | Reno Area Newborn Photographer

I will have to share more from this session next week, as I am leaving town for a couple of days tomorrow.  I just had to share a couple of shots of my new nieces.  They are so adorable!  They were born 5 weeks early, but are doing great.  It was so much fun to see my brother as a dad, and to be able to capture some images of the twins’ first few days of life.  They live in Southern California, so I was very lucky to be able to drive down and spend some time with them.

Enjoy this little preview of their session, and come back to see more next week!

Little Miss H {So Precious} | Sneak Peek | Fernley, NV Newborn Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing little Miss H.  She is the precious new arrival for my college roommate, J.  J and her husband, M, are such sweet, doting parents.  Miss H was only 5lbs 6oz when she was born, so she’s a tiny little peanut!  So precious and sweet.  She was such a little doll and was very easy to work with.

Thanks guys!

Tiny and new–Miss M, 3 weeks old | Fernley, NV newborn photographer

I had the distinct pleasure of getting to photograph this petite little girl over the weekend.  Little Miss M was already 3 weeks old when I got to her, having spent a couple of weeks in the NICU right after she arrived 6 weeks early.  I’m happy to report that she’s doing very well, and you can tell that she is very loved!  She was born at a mere 4lbs 8oz and 17 inches long.  She had gained over a pound by our session, but was still such a tiny, petite little girl!

Thank you for inviting me into your home to meet your new arrival!  :)

Heather and Dylan Sneak Peek | Minden, NV Engagement Photographer

I had the pleasure of meeting Heather and Dylan early this week.  They were in town from southern California, where they plan to get married next August.   It was such a fun session, you can tell that they are true friends, and truly in love.

We started out in the evening in her parents’ yard (isn’t it pretty?), and then met up the next morning after a couple of hair cuts to get some urban shots, too.

Congratulations on your engagement, I know you’ll be very happy together!  Thanks for a great time, enjoy your photos!

Sisters | Fernley, NV Portrait Photographer

Meet K and H, sisters and long-time friends of mine.  K and I have been friends as long as we can remember.  In fact, we always wished we could be sisters.  I had the pleasure of being able to spend an afternoon with K and her sister, H, taking some portraits of them last weekend.  I had so much fun with these two–checking out new locations, laughing, goofing around with each other.  It was just like old times! Between shots, they were making faces, doing silly poses, and just having a great time.  I love it when people have fun with their portraits because it makes it that much more fun for me!

Thank you for spending the afternoon with me, enjoy your images!

So, for the first picture, an amazing, unique location.  This is located in Minden, NV and is actually inside the building.  All I can say is, “WOW!”

Amazing portrait location!

Now, one of H and her dogs, Bella and Brutto.  I love being able to take pet portraits.  It’s so much fun and unpredictable!  Bella was cooperative and happy, Brutto, being a puppy, wanted to go off and play.  Isn’t H just gorgeous?

Sneak Peek–Miss K | Lake Tahoe Children’s Photographer

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting up with little Miss K and her mom up at Lake Tahoe.  Miss K’s mom and I have been friends a long time–since elementary school!  It was a gorgeous day for a photo shoot, and a gorgeous location, too!  Little Miss K is just over a year old and was smiling and happy for our short time together.  She liked exploring the dirt (so much for keeping those adorable outfits clean!), and wanted to chew on her hands the whole time.

We had  a lot of fun, I hope to take more photos of Miss K and her mom soon!!

Winner of the Farmer’s Market Drawing | Fernley, NV Photographer

Saturday was a fun day in the sun out at the Fernley Farmer’s Market.  Though small, we still had a steady stream of people stopping by to check out our booth and it was a pleasure meeting so many new people.  If you stopped by, I want to say, thank you!

I also would like to congratulate my drawing winner, Melanie Wedan.  She won a free session, two 8x10s, and a 5×7, just for stopping by.  Congrats, Melanie!  I can’t wait to get together with your family for pictures.

In case you missed it, here are some pictures of the booth.  I look forward to seeing you out at the next fair/market!

Grand Opening at Farmer’s Market Booth! | Fernley, NV Photographer

I just wanted to announce that I am having my “official” Grand Opening at the upcoming Fernley Farmer’s market this Saturday, July 11th.  I can’t wait to see you there!  Come join the fun as I’ll be having a drawing, giving away balloons, and showing off some of my work!  I’d love to see you there!

Where:  Fernley Farmer’s Market–located at the Fernley In-Town Park

When:  Saturday July 11th  11am-3pm

See you there!

OOPS!  I just corrected it, but make sure you go to the IN-TOWN park, not the Out-of-Town park!!  It’s the one on 95, not on Farm District!  Sorry for the mix-up!  See you there!
